XML News Ticker

A simple yet powerful XML powered horizontal news ticker.

Designed to be easy to edit and update, while giving you the control over all aspects of the look and feel of the news ticker.

You can set the font and size for the news ticker and then adjust text color and rollover color for each individual news item. This allows you to integrate the ticker in with your existing site’s style.
For each news item you can specify a url to open and whether it opens in a new window or the same window. This would be useful if you had news of an event on your site that you would like to link to in the same window, and a news article on an external site you want to link to in a new window. If you don’t need a link thats fine, XML News Ticker understands and will remove any interaction on that news Item.
I provide the fla so you can adjust any further parameters or behaviour. The ticker uses a mask so should easily integrate into other flash sites as swf or as piece in a larger html site.
