Hi, just comment line 54 in Main.as then re-publish your file, and change the background color in the HTML to white (#FFF). Then it will work, thanks.

Hi Sike can you give me some advice?

Im trying to implement this on my site and the swf shows when accessed directly but not when I visit the page its on.

Im using the correct SWFObject embed code, have tried dynamic and static. Have also tried complete, direct paths to files etc but to no avail, is there a simple setting Im missing?

On the page where it is meant to be I can see the background but thats all, does it matter what size of div container its in?

Thanks

Do you upload the xml and image assets at the same time? This happens when your xml location is wrong most of the time. Otherwise you can drop me a line with your preview url, then I can help to debug. Thanks.

Hi Sike, thanks for getting back to me. I feel like a dumdum having to ask because I have installed hundreds of flash files on website but Im at a loss with this one.

It cant be the xml because the when accessing the preview.swf file the images appear. Plus I also tried using the direct path to xml in flash vars.

Anyway if you could have a look that would be awesome:

The .swf path is:

http://www.thepathtemplates.com/catalog/view/theme/thepath/preview.swf

And the path where it should show up is:

http://www.thepathtemplates.com

Like I said I feel like an idiot asking as Ive done this so many times!! Maybe Im missing something simple but I also tested the embed code with another .swf and it worked so Im really lost now.

Thanks

Hi, the http://www.thepathtemplates.com/xml/cover.xml can’t be found. The xml path is related to the HTML where you embed it.

Thanks Sike. What an idiot I am.

I changed the xml path via flashvars last night well actually it was about 1am this morning. So Id obviously got the path wrong because just tried it now and it works fine, thanks.

Hi, can you drop me a line with your preview URL via my profile page. It’s hard to debug without the preview. Thanks.

Hi, I have a few old AS2 animations I would like to show in the coverflow. The external AS2 .swf loads and works ok but the aspect ratio is wrong. is there any way of correcting this through the .xml or .as?

Both the xml and AS2 external .swf are set to the same frame size of 150×200.

Thanks… :-)

I just purchased this and it’s great! I do have a question: 1. How can I move the images to the top of the Flash file. I need more room to display text below the images. I figured that part out, but when I make the file wider, it adds extra space at the top which I don’t need.

Thanks for the help!
