Here’s some pointers.

Note: The movie clip loads from the top left area of the stage so you don’t need to adjust it for loading different sized images or swf’s.

Simply adjust the “Canvas Size” dimensions in the .fla for the version with no controls.

Do the same thing in the version with the play/pause buttons only reposition them in the new corner of whatever the new “Canvas Size” is.

Finally, in the numeric tile version you do the same, only you will also adjust the ”._x” and ”._y” numerical values (numbers) in the main actions layer to position them according to your desired new size.

Takes only 2 minutes or so to do if you know what number to adjust specifically.

Basically, where it says, ”._x = 45;

You change it to a higher or lesser number to move the tiles left or right depending on where you want to align them.

And likewise for the ”._y = 350; coordinate.

First, I want to say thx for an awesome file. I was wondering if you could take a couple of minutes and give me some pointers on how to link a certain image to a button in my movie. Is there an easy way to do this?

Or is there an easy way to display a name instead of a number in the boxes?

To link to an image, have you tried simply using the direct image url path for the link?

As far as the numbers to a name goes, that is not recommended because of the way the spacing per tile is scripted in the actions.

Is there a way to add a rollover color to the buttons?

Pull the movie clip out of the library for the hit area bg movie clips.

Double click on it.

Change the color accordingly.

Double click out of the movie click, and then delete it once you have your new color.

Thx! Another question… I’ve tested all my mac browsers and they work fine, but in Windows Internet Explorer the buttons are there, but when I go to another page and return to it they are gone?! Has this happened to you?
