Welcome at my XML Sliding Puzzle!
It’s a game unlike many others. It contains a whole lot of features at only a small filesize and is extremely easily customizable. I’ll kick it off with a list of features:- XML based. You probably won’t have to open the .fla file
- XML is simply structured and extremely easy to understand.
- You simply mention the source to an image in the XML , the file does the rest
- Amount of pieces in y- and x-directions are optionally definable in XML – anywhere from at least 2 works like a charm, automatically
- Pieces don’t have to be square – rectangles work fine too.
- Puzzles can be displayed in random or sequential order
- Hint-button shows the image that you’re trying to puzzle together
- Amount of moves is tracked and shown
- You can skip to the next or previous puzzle freely – these buttons can be easily removed
- Actionscript is excessively commented so you can easily make adjustments
- The entire game is contained in a single movieclip for easy drag’n’dropping
