XML Small-Caps Mirror Menu

Small-caps isn’t not supported by flash, so why don’t do this with external xml data ?

XML small-caps menu with customizables glow effect and mirror effect. The mirror effect is masked by transparent masks created at runtime. Mask height and alpha are editable to create the type of mirror effect you need simply changing 2 variables.

Load all type of file format supported by flash (i.e. flv, swf, jpg, png and so on).

Open urls in the same window or in a new window as specified in the xml file ( “_self” or “_blank” ).

Works fine also with total lowercase characters, lowercase characters with the first letter capital, or with uppercase characters as shown in the preview.

Mouse events are leaded by a class file and colors are editable by 3 variables into the same class.

Use the swfObject to change the item selection for who want to work out of flash ambient and change urls.

To generate the effect small-caps is necessary to work separately the first letter from the rest but for the user is easy to move from small-caps lower or upper case changing the value of parameter.

The XML structure need 4 elements:

1. The name of the item displayed

2. The action to do (i.e. internal file or external urls)

3. The name of the file to load or the url to open

4. The window mode (i.e. open in the same window or in a new window)

The file size is depending of which type of font family you will dedice to embed.
