XML Text Scroller

great scroller!!!

i have made a WYSIWYG editor for it.. with php ! w e b s t u d i o 1 2 3 . nl / f l a s h c m s

Really crap scroller and pain in the a* to modify. Don;t buy!

if you put beyond certain amount of characters it does not show the text! can you update asap!

I purchased this file. It is really cool. But I faced a problem when I want to put in the text.xml file another language like german or greek. I think it has to do with encoding. Can you please help me. Greetings Marios

i have the same problem with marios69. the xml file can’t show some special characters like ”” ’ //>><<... i tried to embed the characters but i have the sane result even in English. Please tell us what to do or send a updated xml file or if the prob is in the fla file tell us how to fix it

Hey to all you purchasers for this file that have problems with special characters and other languages (ex: GREEK / HELINIKA )

You must delete or coment the line 145 with the following line of code:

System.useCodepage=true

I just dropped it into a site and I’m wondering how I can load different xml files into the text box when other buttons are pressed…ie. each section loads different text.

i see the function that loads the text.xml is inside the component so not sure how to do this… I tried swapping the ‘text.xml’ with a variable that is defined when each button was pressed but that didn’t do it…..

Please advise.

Anyone using this have any idea how to change the speed of the mouse wheel scrolling? Seems tooooo slow when placing your content in the clip, especially longer content.

When i used this scroller with dynamic text then the text changes its vertical position automatically.

By default the text have to be at the top of the text scrolling area. But when I load lengthy text content dynamically then every subsequent dynamic text shifts downwards when loaded, instead of staying at the top of scroll area.
