If used in an HTML environment and you click on a link will it remain selected when the new page loads.

Hi GX3000 !

You can cut your page into 2 frames. In one frame (smaller in width) put the menu. In the other frame (bigger one), let your page load. And on the menu buttons you can set the “target” attribute, so that you can put the name of the bigger frame. So, the page will always open in the bigger frame and the smaller frame will never refresh until user himself does so.

If you do not want to use the frames, then I can do it for you by adding some PHP lines in the html and do some modifications in the flash file.
